{I'm Back}

It feels so good to finally be back and have the time to devote to my blog again. The past 6 months have been the most hectic exciting time in my life and I could not be happier with the decision I made to move! I picked up and headed to a brand new city in a brand new state, started my first "big girl" job and fell in love with the most amazing man I could have ever dreamed of. 

If you follow me on instagram then you probably know that as of lately it has been taken over by two very important people in my life, my handsome boyfriend Garrett and his sweet puppy Piper! She is the cutest, happiest, sweetest, most adorable puppy on the planet! 

Did I mention I bought my dream car!! 

There is so much to catch up on so I hope you are all just as excited as I am to start posting more and more from my new life in Charlotte!

{Exciting} News

I am beyond excited to announce that I have officially accepted an amazing full time position in North Carolina and will be moving to charlotte in 3 weeks! I can not begin to describe how excited I am for this amazing opportunity and for the doors that God is opening for me! I truly feel so blessed and grateful for this opportunity and I can't wait to share my journey with all of you!

In other good news I am officially back from Texas and will be able to start blogging more regularly! It has been such a crazy and exciting few weeks and I can't wait to start this new journey in my life! Thank you so much for being patient during this crazy transition period, I am so excited for spring weather and bright colors to come out in full force within the next few weeks. So stay tuned..

Friday Finds {JCrew Factory}

Going without shopping these past few weeks has been seriously challenging when you work at JCrew. With all of our new spring stuff in stores now I find myself instantly putting outfits together while working almost without even thinking. The good news is it is still a little bit too cold here in Pennsylvania to wear any of these gorgeous spring pieces so I will just continue drooling over them until Easter comes and I can officially take some of them home with me! 

All of these are from our factory site and only the polka dot pop over, anchor blouse and pink sailor shorts are available in stores. The rest are online exclusives! I don't know about you but my closet is ready for spring to officially be here so my dresses, sandals and shorts can come out of hiding!

Stripes on stripes

That time of year is officially here where we are transitioning from winter to spring and of course like clockwork I have gotten sick! I am eagerly trying to get better because on monday morning I will be traveling to Houston, TX for 9 days to take care of my daddy. For those of you who do not follow me on instagram then I will explain. About 3 weeks ago my dad was rushed into the hospital to have spinal surgery on this lower vertebrae. Needless to say, like most men, he waited too long to get his back checked out and the nerves are not bouncing back as quickly as expected. I can not wait to see my daddy and be there to help him recover! 

So back to this outfit! Even sick I am that girl that still gets dressed and ready to go to the doctor! I am not sure why but I like to look my best no matter the circumstances. This was an easy outfit that I wore running errands (getting 8 different cold medicines). I hope you all are having a fabulous week!!
