The countdown has officially begun for Garrett and I's trip to NYC next week. We are so incredibly excited to leave the south and head north to experience one of my favorite cities in one of the best times of year, fall! We have been planning this trip for quite some time as well as exactly what and where we want to go and see while we are there! It really helps that my daddy works in NYC and has graciously gotten us a room at one of his hotel the Park Central for the weekend! Staying so close to so many places we want to see is going to make it much easier to see everything we have planned!

So that brings me to todays post... I would love your input on places you love and hate in NYC! I'm talking restaurants, stores, touristy things and all!

Things we will most definitely be going to are:
1. The 9/11 Museum and Memorial Gardens. I have been to the gardens but have not seen the museum and Garrett has not been to either.

2. The brooklyn Bridge:

3. Hillsong NYC
4. Laudree
5. Shake Shack
6. Washington Square Park
7. Central Park
8. Pomme Frites
9. Max Brenners
10. Crumbs Bakery
11. Serendipity 3
12. Shopping including.. Zara, H&M, Piperlime, Forever21, Macys
13. Sarabeth's

Luckily my mom and step dad are coming into town on Saturday and my dad will be there that weekend to spend time together too! We are looking forward to a nice little getaway and can't wait to pull out our coats and scarfs and walk the gorgeous streets of NYC next weekend!!

My Favorite {Neutral}

Leopard... the most amazing neutral there has ever been! I have a love affair with leopard these days and find myself always having to add some type of leopard to almost every outfit I put on. Whether it is a small touch like a belt of a bangle you can 9 times out of 10 have something leopard on.

This leopard pattern from J Crew Factory last year is one of my absolute favorites. It makes leopard  look really classic and feminine! What are some of your favorite "neutrals"?

I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday!

How to Style: The Zara Bow Heel

Every Since I first laid eyes on these gorgeous shoes worn by my favorite blogger Krystin from Suburban Faux-Pas I have been heavily lusting. These babies are at the top of my wish list right now for more ways then one! I love the sophistication because you can easily throw these on with skinny jeans and a white tee to create an instant dressier look or pair with leather leggings and a oversized sweater. Not only is the color perfect for fall but can we talk about the bow? Who doesn't want a perfect height heel with a bow on the front! This shoe holds everything I love all in one!!

Not to mention I own every piece of this outfit except for the shoes, I think I need them just for the sake of completing the outfit..am I right?!

What type of shoes are on your wishlist for this fall?!

Shirt {Petal Boutique, old} ; Vest {Old Navy, Similar} ; Jeans {Jcrew, Here} ; Booties {Old Navy, Love these} ; Purse {Francescas, in stores} ; Necklace {Brina Box, Here} ; Sunglasses {Urban Outfitters, in stores}

This utility vest is probably one of my most worn and trusted pieces in my closet. I have had this guy for about 4 years and have worn it too many times to count! If you don't own one then you are seriously missing out. I love how easily it adds something to any outfit that might be lacking a final touch.

I hope you all are having a fabulous week, I am heading to the cliffs in South Carolina to spend the weekend with my boyfriend and his family! I am so excited to have a weekend away on the lake!! Have a great day!

Things I Can't Live Without

I decided to take a cue from Emily of Life with emily and do a post about things I can't live without! Some of these should come as no surprise to any girl out there! But here goes nothing...

1. My Iphone- .. Do I really need to say more?!

2. Diet Coke- I go through phases of trying to cut out soda from my diet but diet coke is my true weakness. I can have the worst possible day but having a diet coke can turn it all around!

3. Loreal Mascara- This is hands down my favorite mascara ever! I have tried and tested just about every mascara on the market and I always come back to this! I absolutely love Lancomes mascara but have found that this Loreal mascara is almost identical for a third of the price! If you want thick, longer lashes this is exactly what you want!

4. Nike Free Runs- I have a confession.. I have an obsession with sneakers. Most girls collect heels I collect sneakers. These Free Runs are the most amazing sneakers I own. I love how lite they are and how easy they make it to run!

5. Flannel Bath and Body Works Candle- If you have not smelled this candle yet then you are seriously missing out! It smells like a mixture of fall and mens cologne! It is beyond yummy and is the perfect scent for fall and winter! I stocked up big time on these during the 2 for $22 sale they had going on a few weeks ago!

6. Essie (Fiji) Nail Polish- This is one of my top 3 favorite nail polishes ever. It is the perfect color for any occasion with a mix between nude and pink.

7. Skinny Jeans- Need I really say more about a good pair of skinny jeans! Whether you pair them with a sweatshirt and sneakers or a blouse and heels you can never go wrong with a good pair. My favorite are the skinny ankle jeans in dark rinse from Jcrew.

8. Starbucks Iced Chai Tea- Even writing this is making me want one of these fabulous drinks! I am not a coffee drinker so this is my all time favorite drink. Whether it is scorching hot outside or snowing you will almost always find me with an iced chai tea from starbucks!

Leather Love

Shirt {J Crew Mens, old} ; Vest {J Crew Factory, in stores} ; Leggings {Forever 21, here} ; Boots {Bakers, old} ; Bag {Francescas, in stores} ; Sunglasses {Urban Outfitters} ; Necklace {Brina Box, Here}

This fall one of the top items on my wish list was leather leggings. I didn't want to spend a lot on them because I was still trying to figure out if I could even pull them off..hence Forever 21! I was so excited to find these at such an amazing price and knew pairing them with chambray and boots was an easy first outfit.

I hope you all have a fabulous week!
