As you all know I packed up my bags and headed to Charlotte, NC for the past few days to spend Valentine's Day with my best friend Jamie. I will definitely give you guys a recap of how fun of a weekend we had but first I wanted to let you guys in on a very special service I got the opportunity to go to on Saturday night. If any of you have been to Elevation Church then you know exactly how amazing this church is but if you have not then let me just tell you, it was life changing. You know those sermon's that speak right to you, and you know that God had his hands in making sure you were present for it. Well that is exactly what took place Saturday night at Elevation.

Valentine's Day Look #2 {Hints of Pink}

If you want to sort of go under the radar for Valentine's Day then this look is just for you. You can never go wrong pairing a simple skirt with a gold shirt and a pair of pumps. You have the hint of pink in the heels for a perfect dinner or broadway date with you valentine! I wore this outfit last night for my for valentine's day dinner since we were both going out of town for the actual day.

Valentine's Day: Movie Date

Another very popular option for valentine's day is to see a movie. Luckily they always seem to release a highly talked about chick flick that day to draw you in. I am so excited to see Safe Haven next week since Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors. This look Is toned down, while still incorporating pink/red with a touch of girly chic with the lace. You can never go wrong with a pair of boots and a small amount of bling!

Valentine's Day Dinner {Inspiration}

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and this year I am so excited to be spending it with my best friend in Charlotte, NC. I have always been a huge fan of Valentine's day even though I have never had a really great experience, except with some of my best girlfriends. So this year I am packing up and going south to do all things girly with Jamie. I wanted to put some outfits together as inspiration for any of you out there that can't decide what to wear that night whether you are going to dinner, a movie, or some other romantic location.

I am a firm believer that Valentine's Day should only be an extension of how your guy treats you the rest of the year, it shouldn't take a holiday for him to really show you how he feels. For todays look I paired a gorgeous red dress with a touch of sparkle. This is definitely a more dressy look and I would wear this to a nice dinner. I love that the dress really steals the show and would you look at that bow, dress heaven!
