A new coat + {cheetah & mint}

I am thoroughly enjoying the weather these days and could not be more excited to be wearing this new gorgeous coat! I have always loved coats and i will admit i have quite a collection to choose from. The second i spotted this one i knew i had to have it from the color to the collar it was perfect.

And as promised i decided to share with you a fun recipe my nana and i tried out yesterday! We made pie's in a jar!! My uncle is currently in charge of a base in afghanistan with the Army and because his birthday and thanksgiving fall right after one another my nana wanted to send him a care package with his favorite pie. She found this awesome recipe to make miniature pie's in mason jars! 

They turned out amazing (of course i forgot to take a picture after they baked) and i will definitely be making more of these for the holidays. I mean come on who doesn't love eating a piece of pie out of a mason jar?! I hope you all are having a fabulous week!

Who doesn't love a good pair of cords for winter especially when they are cheetah print?! These babies have become a closet staple because of how incredibly comfy they are and how cute the pattern is. As if i don't do it enough i paired these pants with a cute striped shirt with a zipper detail in the back. 

It is officially friday and that means the weekend is coming!! Unfortunately i will be working all weekend but i hope you have have a fabulous few days :)

{Pinterest} Inspiration

I have a serious love obsession with pinterest and i am not afraid to say it! I go on it daily for all sorts of inspiration from recipes, diy craft ideas and of course outfit ideas. With fall being my favorite season i have been glued to pinterest for all sorts of inspiration. My favorites for fall include layering sweaters and J.Crew perfect shirts, boots, skirts with leggings and coats. I decided to dedicate this post to some of my favorite looks from my fall pinterest page. 

This outfit is to die!! I love the flared jeans paired with a chevron shirt and fur vest. Not to mention a starbucks holiday cup in hand. Couldn't get any better!

And who can forget all of the beautiful fall nail colors!! I have to say during the fall i change my nail polish more then ever because of the endless possibilities. Right now i have a wine color but i am sure it will be something new tomorrow (maybe a deep red).

The {Perfect} Fur Vest

Last year fur vests started to appear into most blogger's wardrobe's and i was utterly impressed with how versatile they really were. Since then i had been on the hunt for the perfect fur vest to add to my collection and thanks to Krista from Southern Shopaholic i was able to find it! She posted a photo on her instagram of one that she had purchased and after finding out it was from marshall's i headed straight there and was pleasantly surprised to find the last one in my size! I was beyond thrilled and couldn't wait to start styling this piece for fall. 

The thing i love most about this vest is how versatile it really is. You can simple throw it over a basis dress to add a little flare or like i did here with a burgundy colored shirt and a pair of distressed jeans. The options are limitless not to mention it keeps me so warm!

Work Attire

One Two Three Four Five Six Seven

Work is an awesome outlet for me to try out new fashions and dress up for a change. I love mixing colors and patterns and tend to lean towards dresses and skirts more then anything. I am currently crushing on mustard and navy together so this outfit is perfect. I love how the colors compliment each other and the ankle boots add a dressier feel to the outfit without being to high of a heel for standing on my feet all day. I always wear a watch and some sort of arm candy so these pyramid bracelets have become a jewelry staple for me and go perfectly with any other bracelets you choose to add to your wrist. The best part about this outfit is each piece is under $100. Thanks for reading.

{Comfy} Cozy

We all have those days where a comfy sweater and leggings sound like just the right combination. Yesterday was one of those days. I was off work and still recovering from hurricane Sandy and just wanted to stay comfy.

 

I know i have talked about my love of the J.Crew pixie pant before and just like then i will say how amazing these pants are! They feel just like leggings but thicker with stitching that gives them a dressier look but with the comfort of leggings.
