I still find it hard to believe that it is Christmas Eve!! Where has this year gone?! The holidays are the perfect time to pull out sequins. Pairing them with Christmas plaid seems only appropriate for Christmas Eve Service at church. I love the contrast of the plaid and polka dots to really make the sequins pop! Not to mention I snagged these gold Jcrew wedges that I have been lusting over at the Lynchburg Clearance store back in November for under $50!! Talk about a steal.

{Menswear} Monday

Todays Menswear Monday post is styling for a Christmas Eve church service or dinner! Garrett wanted to show how this outfit can be done two different ways either with a basic pair of chinos or dark jeans. What I love about this look is it contains items that every guy should own, a good pair of dark jeans, navy chinos, a nice cardigan, a jcrew button down and a great pair of dress shoes.

I can't believe Christmas is only two day away! I made the trip home to Pennsylvania for the holidays and am so excited to spend time with my family! There will be lots of cookie baking, gift wrapping and last minute shopping being done while I am home! I hope each and everyone of you has a very Merry Christmas!

Holiday Party Blog Collab {Little Blonde Book}

I am heading home to Pennsylvania for Christmas so my outfit had to be fun yet practical for the cold I am about to be in! If you have followed my blog at all in the past then you know how much I love to mix patterns and textures to see what works! This is a perfect example of making a summer dress transition into winter with a touch of plaid! I love this Jcrew shirt for its ability to work with so many different looks and the plaid plays great with the holidays! I am always a sucker for sequins and when better of a time to bring them out then during the holidays! Mix the two together and you get one great combination. Paired with black tights and heels and you are ready to party!

I have decided to start doing a weekly post on menswear! My handsome boyfriend dresses better then me most days so why not have him show some guys out there how it is done! He can make just about anything look great from a t-shirt to a tux. I envy his ability to pair classic and edgy items together to make it his own.

I would like you all to meet this sweet little girl, Piper! She is my boyfriends adorable puppy that I absolutely adore! She is the sweetest pup in the world and can turn your terrible day right around as soon as she sees you, thanks to an adorable little wiggle that she has! 

As you can see the vest is upon us again! I can not get enough of it. The weather in Charlotte has been like a roller coaster and this vest seems to be the most appropriate piece to wear through it all! I am always a sucker for a good black and white combo and this Jcrew shirt was the perfect choice for that as well as a little pattern mixing fun!
